This page explains what personal data Sitewisers collects, why, how long it is kept, who it is shared with, and how to exercise your rights under UK GDPR.

Who we are
Sitewisers is a web design and digital marketing agency operating from the United Kingdom. It is operated by Dean Annzee, trading as Sitewisers, a sole trader. Sitewisers is not a registered company, so there is no company number.
We do not publish a postal address. For anything on this page, including any data protection enquiry or request, contact [email protected].
What data we collect, and why
If you email us
If you contact [email protected] directly, we receive whatever you include in that email: typically your name, email address, and the content of your message. We use it to reply to you and, if it leads to work together, to run that engagement.
If you book a call
The "Book a call" flow on our Contact page is a Calendly embed. When you book through it, the booking details you provide (typically your name, email address and any notes you add) are collected by Calendly and shared with us so we can hold the call. Calendly's own privacy policy governs how they handle that data on their side; see below.
If you become a client
If you engage us for a website, marketing, or ongoing reporting work, we hold the business and contact details needed to deliver that engagement (business name, contact name, phone, email, and project details). If your engagement includes connecting a Google Business Profile, GA4, Google Ads or Meta Ads account so we can review performance and report on it, we only access what that connection permits, only for reporting and advice, and only with your explicit authorisation at the time you connect it. We do not use that access to change your ad campaigns or account settings.
Just browsing the site
Visiting sitewisers.com without contacting us or booking a call does not put you in any list we hold. Our hosting provider processes standard server logs (such as IP address and request details) as part of running the site; see Cookies and analytics below for what that does and does not include.
How long we keep it
How long we keep personal data depends on what it is and why we hold it:
- →Client project data and records, including any connected Google or Meta account data, for 6 years after the engagement ends.
- →Enquiry and contact data from people who do not become clients, for 12 months.
- →Email correspondence, for 6 years.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We use a small number of third-party services to run this site and our business, each acting as a processor on our behalf:
- →Cloudflare, our hosting and content delivery provider, processes standard connection and server logs to serve this site.
- →Calendly processes the booking details you provide when you book a call with us through the Contact page.
- →Google Workspace hosts our business email ([email protected]), so any email you send us passes through it.
- →If you are a client and have connected a Google or Meta account for reporting, that platform (Google or Meta) processes the account data you authorised us to access, under its own privacy terms.
We may also disclose personal data where required by law, for example to a regulator or law enforcement body.
Cookies and analytics
Sitewisers.com does not currently run any analytics or advertising tracking of its own: no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no third-party ad trackers.
The one embedded third-party tool on this site is the Calendly booking widget on our Contact page, which may set its own cookies to run the booking calendar. That is governed by Calendly's own cookie and privacy policy, not this one.
If that changes (for example if we add analytics to understand which pages are useful), we will update this section first.
Your rights under UK GDPR
Where we hold your personal data, UK GDPR gives you the right to:
- →Ask what personal data we hold about you, and get a copy of it (right of access)
- →Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data (rectification)
- →Ask us to delete your data, where there is no legal reason for us to keep it (erasure)
- →Ask us to restrict or stop processing your data in certain circumstances
- →Ask for a portable copy of data you gave us, in a common machine-readable format
- →Object to processing that relies on our legitimate interest, including direct marketing
To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We will respond within one calendar month, as UK GDPR requires.
If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
